   Kenya Wing Safari

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi.
Welcome to Nairobi where you will be met and transferred to your city hotel.

Day 2-Amboseli .
After Breakfast your short light aircraft flight takes you to Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Settle into your lodge and enjoy lunch before an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is most famous for its elephant and on your drive you may see at least one family herd. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge luxury tented camp.

Day 3 Amboseli .

Rise early this morning to catch a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak as the cloud cover lifts. On a clear day, the views of Mt. Kilimanjaro are magnificent. Amboseli has five distinct wildlife habitats which support game like gazelle, impalla, giraffe, zebra, kudu, bushbuck and much more. The swamps attract hippo and a wide variety of birdlife like rufous-bellied heron and spike-heeled lark. All Meals and Overnight at the lodge/ luxury tented camp.

Day 4 Samburu .
After Breakfast your light aircraft flight takes you back to Nairobi where you connect to a light aircraft flight to Samburu and arrive in time for lunch. Samburu is one of the best places to spot the elusive leopard, so be sure to scan trees in case one is snoozing the afternoon away. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge/ luxury tented camp.

Day 5 Samburu .
Samburu is home to several species rarely found in other parts of Kenya. Look for the Grevy’s zebra, which has thinner and more vertical stripes. Also look for the “giraffe-necked” gerenuk. This graceful member of the antelope family is a picky eater, preferring the succulent leaves at the top of tree branches. Fortunately, it can stand on its hind legs for long periods of time in order to reach those perfect leaves! All Meals and Overnight at the lodge/ luxury tented camp.

Day 6 Masai Mara .
After Breakfast our journey takes you to Kenya’s most famous game reserve today - the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Have your checklist ready for this afternoon’s game drive, as the plains of the Mara are usually dotted with game as far as the eye can see. Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, Maasai giraffe, waterbuck, wildebeest and Burchell’s zebra are all plentiful in the Mara. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge/ luxury tented camp.

Day 7 Masai Mara .
Thanks to the constant food source, the Mara is also host to the predators like lion, leopard and cheetah - along with spotted hyena and side-striped jackal. The nearby Tana River is host to several hippo pools where you can usually find dozens of eyes peeking up from the water. All Meals and Overnight at the lodge/luxury tented camp.

Day 8 Depart .
After Breakfast a light aircraft flight takes you back to Nairobi where you will spend the rest of your day at leisure till departure.
